Summer Missions for Students
High school and college students, do you want to make a difference with your
summer? Then Christian Youth in Action Summer Missions is for YOU! This
could be the challenge of your life so far, as you trust God to go and to
share the message of His love and forgiveness.. YOU can have a significant
part in God's plan to reach the world for Jesus Christ.
The CYIA Summer Missions Experience
Christian Youth In Action summer missions will help you grow in your
personal faith in Christ as you trust Him with new experiences, team unity,
boldness, and financial provision. CYIA will also give you opportunities to
personally communicate the gospel with others
What is Christian Youth In Action?
Christian Youth In Action is a training and summer ministry program of Child
Evangelism Fellowship® Inc. All across the nation, young people
are trained each year to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. Participants are involved in outreach ministries which may include
(but are not limited to) 5-Day Clubs®, open air, fair ministry,
day camps and overnight camps.
What is a
5-Day Club®?
A 5-Day Club® is an evangelistic neighbourhood Bible club for children held in a Christian home or other
community location for one hour a day for five consecutive days. A summer
missionary teaches exciting Christ-centered Bible lessons on the child's
level along with a true-to-life missionary story. Boys and girls also
participate in games, singing, sharing and memorizing Bible verses.
Who may participate?
CYIA is geared toward high school and college-age young people. In some
parts Canada, the program has expanded to include younger teens, age 13 and
14, and even some adults who are "young at heart".
What are the requirements?
Participants must satisfactorily complete the training program within the
province they will be serving in. CYIA training is intense, spiritually
challenging and fun.
Each summer missionary raises their own support or volunteers his or her time
for ministry.
How can I get involved?
Since each province runs its own CYIA program, you need to contact the CEF®
provincial office where you'd like to serve. Please click the links below:
