Children’s Ministries
CEF has many different ministries to reach children, but the primary ones are the Good News Club and the 5-Day Club.
The Good News Club and 5-Day Club ministries take place in
neighborhood settings such as homes, backyards, schools and community centers and churches all over the world. These fast-paced, one-one & half hour programs are designed to bring the Gospel of Christ to children on their level in their environment.
Along with these clubs, CEF also has local fair, camp, and internet ministries for children. Last year through these combined ministries over 16.4 million children worldwide heard the Good News.
Good News Club
This club meets weekly during the school year. Children participate in Bible lessons, songs, Scripture memory, review games and other activities. Evangelizing and discipling children are the primary goals.
What is a Good News Club?
Where Does a Good News Club meet?
Good News Clubs meet in the neighbourhood where children live. They meet most often in the friendly atmosphere of a home. Good News Clubs also meet at community centres, churches or most anywhere children will gather together.

Fair Ministry
The local fair is an ideal opportunity to minister to people in the community! Each year, CEF goes to country fairs, festivals and exhibitions to share the message of salvation through the Wordless Book and Bible stories.

Fairgoers of all ages are given the opportunity to receive Christ as their Savior at the fair, and many people’s lives have been impacted by this ministry over the years.
Will you be a part of what the Lord is doing at the fair? There is a need for workers to volunteer to tell the Wordless Book or Bible Story, simply invite people walking by to hear the story, or just be an adult presence to supervise.
Five Day Club
This club is held during the summer months for five consecutive days. Children gather to hear Bible lessons and a missionary story. They join in fun games and other activities. The primary thrust of these summer clubs is evangelistic, though Christian growth teaching is included as well.
