In Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” These words are both a promise and a call to action. Jesus invites children into His kingdom, recognizing their innocence, faith, and openness. He emphasizes that the kingdom of heaven belongs to them, and as His followers, we are responsible for sharing the gospel message with children everywhere.

Our mission is clear at Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF): Every Child, Every Nation, Every Day. We are committed to ensuring that no child is left behind and that every child has the opportunity to hear about Jesus and experience His love. This mission echoes the heart of Jesus’ words in Matthew 19:14. He calls us to remove any barriers that might prevent children from knowing Him.

Children are not just the future of the church—they are a vital part of it today. When we share the gospel with children, we are planting seeds of faith that can grow and shape their lives for years to come. The potential impact of a young heart, touched by the love of Christ, who then goes on to live a life of faith, hope, and service, is immense. That is the power of evangelism: transforming lives and spreading the kingdom of God.

But Jesus’ command to “let the little children come” is not just for those near us; it’s a global call. There are millions of children in every corner of the world who have yet to hear the good news of the gospel. Our theme, Every Child, Every Nation, Every Day, reminds us that this is a daily mission. It’s about reaching children in our communities, our countries, and across the world.

As believers, let us rise to this challenge. Let us be the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing His love and message to children wherever they are. It may also be that the Lord may press upon your heart that taking up this mission could be for you part time or full time. You may even be retired which is the perfect tim to serve the Lord in this great mission.
