Short Term Missions

Do you have a burden to reach the children with the Good News? Are you just not sure if this is the career God is calling you to?  Short-term missions could be just the thing for you. Child Evangelism Fellowship of Canada could have a ministry opportunity for you.  Typically these short term opportunities last 3 months to two years or less. You could become a short-term missionary through working with a local office in your area, or overseas.

Become a fulltime Missionary

Child Evangelism Fellowship has a ministry presence all around the globe in some 200 plus countries. CEF had personal, individual ministry with over 16.4 million children in the last ministry year.  God has given us a passion to not only bring children into a right relationship with God, but to disciple them in His Word and establish them in Bible teaching churches so that they can become mature in their faith.

CEF believes there is no work that is more pertinent or effective. Perhaps God is leading you to become more involved in the lives of children, for His kingdom’s sake. CEF is here to train, equip, and encourage you as you follow that leading.

Volunteers and youth  groups are asked to contribute towards the cost of their meals and housing (prices vary based locations).

There is great need for individuals, couples, and church groups including youth groups to help in the mission of reaching children with the Gospel. Volunteering at CEF is a great way to grow and use your gifts and talents to help fulfill the Great Commission. The tasks are varied and the needs are many, so we hope you will choose to learn more about how you can invest your time and impact eternity.

Every year volunteer missionaries contact CEF , to find ways to help with the mission of reaching Every Child, Every Nation, Every Day!  CEF has active work in over 90% of the nations of the world. There are many ways you can invest your time and talent in the work of reaching boys and girls with the Gospel. You can come on your own or with a group from your church. Regardless, you will return home amazed at what God is doing and best of all, you can be a part of it!

Here are some ways you can serve:

• Help in an office
• Utilize your IT skills
• Pack and ship curriculum to workers around the world
• Provide assistance with maintenance projects
• Assist in community beautification tasks
• Assist with club activities
• Work on special projects
